The music of Frankie Valli and the 4 Seasons - not just for babys and toddlers, but for parents and grandparents, too!

About

The original Broadway album of Jersey Boys is amazing. My children are growing up listening to the Four Seasons’ music just like I did. I play it all the time and that’s not just because my Dad is Bob Gaudio, an original Season and the group’s chief songwriter. I love the music, and I’ve lived it since the day I was born in 1966, the year when my Dad and Bob Crewe wrote “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You.” Thanks to the phenomenal success of the play Jersey Boys, more people of all ages are listening to “Sherry” and “Dawn” and “Rag Doll” than ever before. The music my Dad has written is timeless and inspirational. It has a way of bringing back vivid memories and feelings. Some songs will calm you, while others will energize you. His legacy of songs will never fade from glory.

The inspiration for this project began when my oldest son was a baby. I heard a Beatles “lullaby” at a friend’s house. I loved hearing the familiar tunes in new soothing arrangements. I bought the CD and began giving it to my friends who were having babies. That music gave me the idea for Jersey Babys. I thought, “Why should my baby have only the Beatles? Why not The Four Seasons too!!!!! I told my Dad about the idea but he resisted. I pursued it until Jersey Babys was born. The title came naturally. After all, I’m a Jersey Baby myself.
